A typical Willard & Lowe client is a physician's office with one or more practitioners. Until now, patient information has been recorded on paper-based charts and records. Collecting, accessing and leveraging that information in a timely manner will enhance the overall patient experience. We will work with the office to enrich each patient encounter with an electronic health record (EHR) that we can later integrate with billing and practice management applications. This consolidation of the patient's essential information will advance the quality and scope of personalized healthcare and transform it into a collaboration model that allows the sharing of accurate real-time information by authorized practitioners and patients.

Having pertinent patient information in electronic form can dramatically improve the doctor-patient relationship. Patients will be able to log in and schedule appointments through the practice's website. They can securely access their own test results. Doctors can communicate privately with patients one-on-one online to answer their questions and provide personalized medical information. At any time from any location in the office, at home, or even away on a trip, a doctor will be able to access any patient's medical records instantaneously from mobile devices such as laptops and PDAs.
